PURETECH CO., LTD. (the “Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws of Korea, and establishes this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information and rights of data subjects. This policy applies to the inquiry and consultation services of the Company website (puretech-system.com).
1. Personal Information Collected
- Inquiry / quote / consultation (required): name, contact number
- Optional: inquiry type, message (site conditions, water-test results and other information entered by the user)
- Automatically collected: IP address, cookies, visit date/time, service-usage records, device/browser information (when web-analytics tools are used)
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
- Receiving and responding to inquiries, quotes and water-quality consultations; managing consultation history
- Service provision, quality improvement and statistical analysis (automatically collected data)
3. Retention and Use Period
Personal information is destroyed without delay once its purpose is achieved. For continuity of support, inquiry data is retained for up to 3 years from receipt and then destroyed, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without the data subject’s consent, except where required by law or upon a lawful request from an investigative authority.
5. Outsourcing of Processing
The Company entrusts the following personal-information processing tasks to ensure smooth service, and contractually requires that the information be managed securely.

6. Rights of the Data Subject

7. Destruction Procedure and Method
Personal information whose retention period has elapsed or whose purpose has been achieved is destroyed without delay. Electronic files are permanently deleted by irrecoverable means; printed materials are shredded or incinerated.

Any addition, deletion or amendment to this Privacy Policy will be announced on the website prior to its effective date.
