Ultrapure (DI) process
RO permeate is passed through mixed-bed resin to produce ultrapure water at 18.25 MΩ·cm resistivity for the production process (EDI and mixed-bed are the two common methods; this site uses mixed-bed).
Work — 450 L resin change
- Spent resin discharged and vessel cleaned with dedicated equipment
- 450 L of new mixed-bed resin charged
- Leak check and resistivity verification (18.25 MΩ·cm)
